Save as new version starts its own new history if you then open that and continue work. This is different than multiple saves to the same project/song, which would produce a history for reverting. This could be useful for saving variations on a project without overwriting the original or previous. So next time you want to open that new version, not an old one. The way I understand it, save as new version literally does what it says. It doesn't show up in the 'revert to old project' list and it isn't in the history folder for the song. But I make some changes and save a new version, but I then seem to lose the project from before the save new version operation.
I think I am just being dumb and not understanding it. Drewfx wrote:Can someone explain how the save new version feature works, because I'm finding that I am losing projects.
